The right connection

Who wouldn’t have bet that Rooney would be on the scoring sheet on Saturday?

The former Everton striker did not have the chance to play enough football on, but this did not prevent him from scoring his first goal of the season and his first for Man United since his equalizer at Stamford Bridge in May.

Rooney has a habit of netting against Bolton and his statistics against this team are amazing.

The substitute came at the right time and assumed his responsibility by rounding up Manchester’ victory after Ronaldo opened the score line through a penalty.

Rooney’s strike was superb and it was the perfect way to finish a beautiful piece of work created by Ronaldo.

It is such a beauty to see the two forwards connecting together and assuring Manchester United success. Let there be more of those!
