The Manchester United influential forward Wayne Rooney is really showing his fans that his service can replace the presence of his former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.

In their game away to Tottenham at the weekend, the defending Premier League champions humbled the home side by beating them 3-1, and Wayne Rooney was once again on the scoring sheet.

After Jermain Defoe got an early opener for the Londoners, Ryan Giggs leveled things up trough a magnificent free-kick.

Brazilian midfielder Anderson then got his first Premier League goal for the Mancunians before the 45th minute, to give Fergie’s side the lead before the break.

In the second half, Old Trafford’s talisman Rooney controlled the ball past two men, before driving the ball smoothly into the net for the third goal.

Manchester United’s quest for the EPL title this season still goes on, as they have now found their positive form back.
