With 85 points in English Premier League table list, just 1 point away from the rival Chelsea, Manchester United flushed all the hopes to bring back the Premier League Trophy for the fourth time in a row. Even though ManUtd has won their last match against Stoke City with a clear 4-0 yesterday (9/5) they couldn’t celebrate the victory, since Chelsea, also on the same day, defeated Wigan Athletic with a fantastic 8-0.

Fergie says that they will try they best next year to win back the Premier League Trophy, and become the best football club in the world. Still, he congratulated Chelsea for their victory. ” Chelsea deserves to win. This is the most toughest league in the world. For Carlo Ancelotti, I congratulate him.”

He also thanked all Red Devils fans for their support. ” We had our ups and down with our performance.  Our biggest disappointment was when Chelsea beat us twice. But there was also times when we faced an exciting match and got the best result.”

Wayne Rooney couldn’t be more disappointed with the result. On this last match, he failed to scored a single goal even though he played for 77 minutes before called off to the bench due to injury. He had to give his top scorer title to Didier Drogba, who collected 29 goals, while Rooney collected 26 goals.

Despite his lost, Rooney was seen as a proudly father when he showed off Kai, his 6 months son to the public, wearing a mini ManUtd costume with “Daddy” on the back, also in number 10.
