Unlike the beginning of last season, Wayne Rooney is now unconditionally fit. Or at least that is what Ferguson believed.

Last season, Rooney was back from World Cup competition without any single goal, plus a rough condition on Premier League. But when the competition nearly ended, Rooney managed to get back on his feet and grabbed himself a few goals.

“It all happened last year, now we must continue to move forward. Rooney has been fit since the preseason. It’s great, he has the same energy at all times. He was tireless in the field.
