Wayne Rooney's Father and Uncle Got Arrested For Betting Scam
Bad news for Wayne Rooney, as his father, Rooney Snr and uncle Richie got arrested today for a football betting scam, along with few other people.
The police also arrested a Scottish Premier league footballer,Steve Jennings, after allegedly getting himself to be sent of deliberately on the match.
Wayne Rooney Snr got arrested while he was at home in Liverpool. All of the suspects, including Rooney’s uncle are being held and interogated at the police station, regarding the betting scam.
The match that became the problem happened in December last year, in a game between Motherwell and Hearts, where Hearts won 2-1.
At that time, Jennings received a red card in minute 83rd for complaining a rejected penalty claim to the ref. Earlier, he had been booked for a hard tackle on Kevin Kyle.
