Fabio Capello declares Rooney as a “crazy man”.

United’s game against Fulham definitely wasn’t a good one for Wayne Rooney. The striker came on as a substitute in the second half, but was sent off for hurling the ball back to the official in rage.
It was then that after responding to the referee’s decision angrily, Rooney allegedly hit the Fulham corner flag as he was on his way to the dressing room.

Consequently, the England manager Fabio Capello publicly declared that though frustration and pressure could have an impact on attitudes, the way Rooney comported himself was just unacceptable.

During a confrontation between both men, the Italian man Capello joked about the English striker’s reaction.

“You’re a crazy man; you’re a crazy man”, Fabio said with a big smile on his face…

Well, no one knows how serious the coach was when he made the statement, but in any case, it is very clear that he was not joking at all when he affirmed that the United ace needed to work on his attitude and mostly on his discipline.
He went on to add that Rooney would not play in the national squad unless he proved himself to be much more humble and self-controlled.

Of course, no final decision is made yet, but one could already suggest that Rooney’s presence would be missing in England ’s friendly match against Slovakia on March 28.
