From striker to midfielder?
3 views 5 September 2008Manchester United’s Wayne Rooney has failed to solve the team’s goal scoring problems. Thanks to a late transfer deal, the striker can now be relieved, as Berbatov is now part of the Man United squad.
Best of all, Cristiano Ronaldo last time stated that he would be back on exactly September 27.
With Manucho also been offered a work permit, Manchester United will soon possess many options in front. And if the Angolan striker impresses in his first appearances, he could soon become a first team player.
Now, there are concerns over Rooney’s role in Manchester United. Will he continue to play as a striker or will he switch to be a complete midfielder?
After all, Owen Hargreaves is still out injured and Berbatov, Tevez, Manucho, and Ronaldo should perfectly fit together in front.
