Manchester United Star Wayne Rooney Praised By Mike Phelan

The Manchester United assistant manager Mike Phelan has described star striker Wayne Rooney as an extremely serious football player, who is always ready to give his best in tough games like the one at the weekend against Arsenal.

Sir Alex Ferguson’s top partner also emphasized the great scoring abilities of the 23-year old forward, and speaking to the press, this is what Mike Phelan said:

“Wayne (Rooney) is at his best, presently. He is working very hard in training, and he is always out there on the training zone.

“It is really important that players (Manchester United players) do that. His displays are excellent.

“Rooney is getting goals that we know he can score, and that we need, so long may it continue.”
