Real Madrid Prepared €132 Million For Rooney and Gerrard

While the attention of all football lovers were drawn to the middle of South Africa to watch the World Cup performances, Real Madrid appears to remain concentrated in the matter of approaching their players for next season squad.  Gerrard and Rooney, are still the main target for the Spanish Giant, and has become the ambition for Florentino Perez for the new season.

Premier League’s fear for Mourinho’s interest in two of their stars was reasonable, since Los Blancos was offering a very high price for both players,  with a total of €132 million.

According to reports of the Daily Star, Wednesday (16 / 6), Madrid has set aside for €36 million to Liverpool to get their branded star, Gerrard. While for Rooney, Madrid prepares  €96 million  for Manchester United. Rooney’s bid this time will make the Red Devils striker broke the record for the most expensive player in the world.

Although it was only a rumor, but the idea was obviously frightening  for both Liverpool and Manchester. As is known, it has been reported in previously that Gerrard will leave Anfield following his  frustration towards Liverpool’s achievement last season. While for Rooney,  the Daily Star already  reported that Madrid has asked Ronaldo to persuaded Rooney to  join the squad next season.

Both Gerrard and Rooney has not given any comment on Madrid’s interest on them. They are still concentrating on World Cup South Africa.
