Rooney’s superb form for England continues.
England raised their fans’ hopes of qualifying for the 2010 World Cup with a comfortable 4-0 win over Slovakia in a friendly match on Saturday at Wembley.
Rooney’s nice move in the first half enabled Steven Gerrard to drive a low cross into the danger zone, only for Emmanuel Heskey to place the ball into the back of the net with a good effort.

Rooney and Coleen, the new Posh and Becks in Hollywoood?
During Wayne & Coleen Rooney’s honeymoon in Las Vegas they met the top producer and film financier Victor Drai. Victor Drai saw a lot of potential in the english couple to attract a teen audience in the same way as David & Victoria Beckham have done.
“He (Drai) believes Rooney could become a hugely popular figure over here, and Victor has various projects that could fit his busy schedule right away”.
“Mr. Drai was hugely impressed by the couple and believes they could have a big impact here – like Posh and Becks.
