With 3 league games before the end of the season, Manchester are proving to everyone that points are precious.
It was just the case in Sunday’s clash between the English Champions and their city rivals Manchester City.
Unsurprisingly, Sir Alex Ferguson didn’t see the essence of playing all his great stars at once, as he knew that his players didn’t have to be exhausted ahead of their big games, which are still on their way, this season.
Wayne Rooney started the game on the bench, and he could only watch his buddy and mate Ronaldo scoring from a free kick in the 18th minute of the game, as well as Carlos Tevez increasing the lead on the stroke of half time.
Wayne Rooney came into the game with about half an hour of the game to go.
Rooney wasn’t too influential, making few touches, and short distance passes. As a result, he wasn’t able to get a second goal in two appearances against his rivals, however, he was still the man.
2-0 the match ended in favor of the Mancunians, and Rooney fans still have to wait before their player takes everything under control once again,
In the meantime, encouragement and patience are what the number 10 playmaker really needs to be on fire, for another time,
